Attorney Melissa Buss
Attorney Melissa Buss recently joined Ahmad and Associates as an Associate Attorney after graduating Marquette University Law School in May 2023. Attorney Buss has now been with the firm for three years, having worked as a Law Clerk during her law school summers.
Prior to law school, Attorney Buss interned at the Wisconsin State Capitol, while studying at the University of Wisconsin Madison. After graduating with degrees in Political Science and Spanish, Attorney Buss moved to Washington, D.C., to intern at the House of Representatives. It was these first experiences that invigorated her passion for law.
Throughout her two and a half years in D.C., Attorney Buss also worked for a non-profit organization that focused on socioeconomic inequalities within the legal system. Later in her career, after a brief stint in media, she worked at a law firm serving the needs of the D.C. community. Soon after joining the firm, Attorney Buss realized that going to law school was the next step for her to truly make a difference in the lives of others through the pursuit of legal justice.
In addition to clerking for Ahmad & Nolan, during law school, Attorney Buss volunteered with the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics and interned for a Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge.
Attorney Buss believes in serving her community and being a fervent advocate for her clients in court.
During her free time, Attorney Buss likes to spend time outside, play board games with family, and try out the newest brewery in town with her friends!
